Jason de Caires Taylor - Underwater Sculpture Museum
"Creator of the world’s first underwater sculpture park, Jason de Caires Taylor has gained international recognition for his unique work. His sculptures highlight ecological processes whilst exploring the intricate relationships between modern art and the environment. By using sculptures to create artificial reefs, the artist’s interventions promote hope and recovery, and underline our need to understand and protect the natural world."-www.underwatersculpture.com
I find this artists work completely creepy and thought provoking. My thoughts mostly surround the idea that one day when the world has "started over" in some sense, there will be new life that finds this underwater sculpture museum and will wonder...who, what, where, why? I think it also feels a bit creepy because the ocean is already a pretty scary place to swim around in. Can you imagine accidentally coming up to a bunch of what looks like dead bodies lying on the ocean floor! Its all very beautifully grotesque.

My Milk Toof...A Visual Blog by: Inhae
A strange and funny visual story blog about baby teeth who go on to have normal little lives in a giant world.
"When I was young, I placed my baby teeth under my pillow and when i woke up I'd find a shiny new quarter. But whatever happened to those little teeth? Where did they go? Would I ever see them again? Many years later, a little tooth was standing at my door. It looked familiar. It's name was ickle. Welcome home, my milk toof!"

Dave Kinsey
"Dave Kinsey was born in Pittsburgh in 1971 and attended the
Art Institute of Pittsburgh and the Art Institute of Atlanta before
moving to California in 1994 to pursue a career as a designer
and fine artist. His work captures the universal essence of the
human condition mainly through an energetic portrayal of urban
figures. Working spontaneously, and utilizing a range of
mediums, he constructs multi-layered, textured environments
easily likened to the complexities of contemporary life."
